How To Get An Express Passport in Cameroon?

Getting an express passport in Cameroon is a myth. This is because no particular service exists for the procurement of an express passport.

Express passports are usually gotten in Cameroon through the backdoor or via corruption as follows:

  1. A person in need of a passport urgently contacts an official or someone who works in the passport production service,
  2. If a financial deal is made, the individual who needs the Passport is asked to go to the police station, where snapshots and other details are obtained.
  3. Information is then forwarded for production of the express Passport.
  4. The person then receives his or her Passport in 2 to 3 business days.

What is the Cost of An 'Express Passport' in Cameroon?

Since so-called 'express passports' are gotten in dubious ways, the prices vary. Most Cameroonians report paying 200000 FCFA to 350000 FCFA instead of the regular 75000 FCFA fee.

Cameroon's delegate for National security has always condemned this practice. Temo Group strongly condemns this dubious practice as individuals have lost vast sums of monies in shady passport deals.
