Apple iPhone X: Price in Cameroon, Review and Specs

The iPhone X (sometimes called the iPhone ten) is a premium device released by Apple in September of 2017. It was released together with the iPhone 8 and 8 plus. However, it stands out from the latter and offers better specs. Notable extra features of the iPhone 10 are a larger edge-to-edge OLED display and integrated facial recognition.

Design and Display

At 174g, it is a hefty phone. It weighs 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm. However, the combination of an almost bezel-less display and the integrated glass design of the iPhone X is applaudable. The iPhone X brings innovation by integrating a larger 5.8-inch display in a form factor smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus, which was launched alongside it. The iPhone X loses the physical Home button many people have become accustomed to. Instead, Apple decided to up for facial recognition and ditched the fingerprint scanner.

The iPhone X is the first iPhone to use the OLED display. Previous versions had been based on iOS. A resolution of 2,438 x 1,125 pixels means a staggering 458ppi. This results in a great display you will love to look at.

Performance and software

Apple’s latest A11 Bionic chip blows benchmark results. The Hexa-core processor, combined with the three core apple graphics, will seamlessly run the latest 3D games.

Talk time on the iPhone X is about 21Hrs. It launched with the latest iOS 11 operating system but has since been upgraded to iOS 12, bringing several new features. The face ID lets you unlock your eyes and replaces the touch ID. Despite the smaller 2716mAh battery, Apple always manages to optimize battery life. It also supports fast charging and wireless charging.

Camera

The iPhone X has a dual-lens camera setup on the rear:  one is a wide-angle lens, and the other is a telephoto lens. The primary camera has an aperture of f/1.8 and takes excellent shots in daylight and nighttime. The 7MP TrueDepth selfie camera is outstanding and works seamlessly with 3D tracking. Hardware Image Stabilization is enabled.
Price
The iPhone X usually sells for a whopping  150000frs to 250000frs  in most offline and online stores.
